For two days in August (21st & 22nd) some of the brightest minds in the social media and social networking industry will converge in the Deep South for Social South, Deep Fried Social Media. It’s the first event of it’s kind in the Southeast region and it’s your chance to hear nationally recognized social media professionals at an affordable and easy-to-get-to location. We’re bringing together the experts that can answer the question: What should my business be doing in social media to excel in today’s economic climate? There will be four different tracks including Social Media Tools, Communications, Strategy and Case Studies.
Richard Binhammer, who directs corporate reputation management at Dell, and Lionel Menchaca, a 15-year Dell veteran and chief blogger at Direct2Dell will take the stage together for the very first time. “We are very fortunate to be able to bring these two new media experts to Birmingham,” said event founder and organizer Scott Schablow. “It promises to be a lively and enlightening discussion as they reveal the strategy behind Dell’s successful global social media presence.”
