Social Media Club ('SMC') has been organized for the purpose of sharing best practices, establishing ethics and standards, and promoting media literacy around the emerging area of Social Media.
UPDATED: Raines Cohen will lead a discussion around 'Saving the Earth through Social Media: Public Education about the Global Climate Crisis through Blogging and Web Publishing'.
The event is FREE to attend, though you must pre-register at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/46641506 so we can prepare the space for your arrival.
We are looking for volunteers to lead discussions, and for support from local businesses and/or individuals to cover drinks and snacks at the meetings. Please contact socialmediaclub [at] gmail [dot] com if you would like to support your local chapter.
