Soccer Rules again at the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles!
The FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) is presenting the 19th Soccer World Cup in South Africa, the first time, the turnament will be held on the African continent.
After a long qualification process, which started in August 2007 and involved 204 national soccer teams the finalists are ready to go. The matches are taking place in 10 renewed or new-build stadiums.
The German national soccer team has been part of the international competition since 1908.
Having won the World Cup three times, just behind Brazil and Italy, Joachim Loew’s “Nationalelf” ranks among the most successcul teams.
During the world cup, you will have the opportunity to watch all Geman matches broadcast after 9am PST among fellow German fans at the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles.
