Join Arist in Residence as she unveils "Soar" a collaborative sculpture made with the help of Museum visitors.
Julia a recent University of Waterloo Fine Arts graduate is actively involved in the local arts community. Her work strives to evoke strong emotion and make people question standards which are arbitrarily applied or myths about physical averages.
Julia was the recipient of the 2005 Pat Hurley Memorial Award and received the 3rd year Sculptural Award, both from the University's Fine Art Department.
Also note, Julia has regular studio hours:
Wednesdays from 10AM until 2PM
Sundays from 1 until 4PM
Join Julia for an "Unruffled Feathers" workshop where you can make a feather which will be added to a collaborative sculpture entitled "Soar".
