'So Long to Summer' Food Tour
We’re sending summer out in style this Labor Day Weekend with a tasty tour featuring summertime food favorites—great barbeque, refreshing mixed drinks, and the freshest seafood—with a sophisticated twist.
City Food Tours’ “So Long to Summer” Food Tour is dishing up 2 ½ delicious hours of amazing food at three of Philadelphia’s finest restaurants.
* Forget the clam bake! You’ll experience a seafood sampling that tastes like it’s straight from the shore, but you’ll be enjoying it in the opulent setting of XIX (Nineteen) at the top of the Bellevue.
* No wine spritzer on this tour! A tasting flight of 3 summer-inspired mixed drinks will be waiting for you at the modern yet relaxed Tavern 17.
* We’ll show you a sophisticated take on barbeque that will leave your backyard grill feeling a bit inadequate. You’ll taste a selection of succulent meats grilled to perfection at the exotic Chima Brazilian Steakhouse.
At each location you'll explore how the foods are made, meet the culinary experts and chefs who prepare them, and learn what to look for in truly great food.
Since this tour is a tasting adventure and not a full meal, guests can feel free to stick around for dinner at our last stop—Chima Brazilian Steakhouse.
Tours are perfect for individuals, couples, and out-of-town guests! Guests must be at least 21 years old. With less than 30 minutes of total walking and more than 2 hours of indulging, this tour is relaxing and enjoyable for all participants.
