SnowFit is a comprehensive 6-week program that will get you in optimum condition for skiing or riding. Developed by Neil Wolkodoff, PhD and Level 200 USSA coach, this program uses equipment and techniques used by the U.S. Ski Team and professional athletes.
You will go through three linked programs during the six weeks: strength and balance; functional movement with scientifically based intervals specific to skiing and boarding, and finally a power/injury prevention phase.We use unique equipment such as the PowerPlate, ProVibe, Sprint Stairs and Fitter balance equipment to achieve these improvements in on-snow performance.
The class is limited to 5 people per class to ensure individual attention and modification of exercises to individual needs. For optimum results, you should blend this class with some form of aerobic or cardiovascular conditioning. Colorado Pass Holders receive $75 off a class, and can upgrade to include a physiological profile (VO2 Max, Isokinetic Strength, Balance), for an additional $95.
M-W Classes start October 6 and run for 6 weeks.
T-TH classes start October 14, and run for 6 weeks.
