Snowdown Balloon Rally Train February 5, 2011

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is again the proud sponsor of the Snowdown Balloon Rally Mass Ascension on Saturday, February 5, 2011. As part of the celebration, the D&SNGRR is running the Snowdown Balloon Rally Train, offering passengers the chance to view the mass ascension overhead from the comfort of heated train coaches. The railroad is offering two-for-one tickets for this train (second ticket must be of equal or lesser value). The train will stop in the Animas Valley for the colorful mass hot-air balloon ascension and will continue to Cascade Canyon for a short break by the Animas River before returning to Durango.
