SMS Recycles Month November 15, 2011

Kick off Nov 15, SMS will encourage it's students, staff, community, community businesses and city officials to recycle paper products. This event will lead us to the beginning of our new recycling efforts for clothing, plastic, glass and canned items...once our new bins arrive on site.

Our Service Learning Club (student) representatives will research waste and recycling, deliver important information to the students weekly and make a pitch to certain area businesses via video or in person. The goal is to make everyone more aware of how important recycling is and to open our recycling bins to the community.
