Representing the Boot Camp Click, Smif N Wessun (aka Cocoa Brovas) exploded onto the scene in the mid 90's with their song stealing cameos on Black Moon's Enta Da Stage LP. The powerful duo of Tek and Steele soon had an underground hit of their own with "Bucktown", an ode to their Brooklyn stomping ground and "home of the original gun clappas." Although their name implies violence, the weaponry Smif N Wessun deploy is of the verbal variety and it's their signature flows combined with neck-snapping beats that have Smif-N-Wessun revered around the world as Hip-Hop royalty.
