This year’s program features key note speaker Fred Kirschenmann, farmer and Distinguished Fellow at the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, who will discuss “Small Farms: Agriculture of the Past, or Agriculture of the Future?” Andrew Stout of Full Circle Farms, in Washington will close the conference with a presentation about growing your farm business, from crop diversification to unconventional sales outlets. The conference will present information on Marketing, Business Management, Production, Season Extension and Food Policy issues.
The conference includes 12 sessions, covering a range of topics of interest to growers, market managers, and community food advocates.
