Northpilot fans will get a sneak peek at the 2010 Slurpee Battle of the Bands
contender before the band competes with two others at the Friday, July 23 sold-
out All Time Low concert at Chicago’s House of Blues.
Northpilot will perform an acoustic set on Thursday, July 22 at 7 pm at the
7-Eleven store at 1138 W. Wilson, Chicago. Q101 personality Lou Lombardo will
emcee; the Q101 team will be on site with games and prizes from 7-9 pm. The
event is free and open to the public.
Fans will receive a free ticket to the All Time Low concert and a free 22-
ounce Slurpee drink, while supplies last.
Fans can view all 12 Slurpee Battle of the Bands performances live online
on Slurpee’s Facebook fanpage (www.facebook.com/Slurpee) and then vote at
Slurpee.com for their favorite band for three days immediately after each event.
Also, one song from each competing band’s performance will be posted on
Slurpee.com. The group with the winning votes from each of the four events will
continue on to the next round of competition.
The Battle of the Bands winner will receive the grand prize of $10,000
and a chance to record in-studio and be featured on Wolfgangsvault.com. For
