Slow Food Nation of 2008 is the inaugural festival in San Francisco celebrating the slow food movement. Slow food works to support local farmers, artisan products, and building a sustainable food system.
The Banquets and Catering class of the California Culinary Academy (CCA) are putting together a fundraiser for Slow Food Nation’s event as a class project. With donations and support from the slow food community we hope to raise $10,000 in the next three weeks.
We will be serving an elegant five course dinner inspired by Californian Cuisine paired with local wines. The class is also providing home-brewed beer, iced tea, and live music. We hope to have your attendance and your support for the slow food movement.
