Slow Beer Festival April 28, 2012

Slow Food San Francisco and the San Francisco Brewers Guild present Slow Beer, a celebration of local artisan beer and food.

Over 25 handcrafted beers by the San Francisco Brewer's Guild members will be showcased as part of Slow Food's effort to promote the pleasures of eating and drinking from the well of our own backyard. The event will also showcase artisanal food provided by local producers for pairing combinations. Discover some of the many wonderful beer and food pairing combinations.

The idea is to pair San Francisco's local brewers with the locally made foods and explore different tastes from pairing each together in a variety of ways.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Slow Food San Francisco programs which include sending a Bay Area farmer to Terra Madre 2012 in Turin, Italy. In addition, proceeds from the raffle will used for the upcoming Slow Food Childhood Obesity Conference Bay Area (COBA).
