Two Night WorkshopMembers/ $45 Non-Members/ $65
In this very messy workshop, learn how to use neoprene-a synthetic latex- to create a hollow object that can be used for dollmaking, robot making, or anything else. This material can be sanded and painted once dry, and is available in either a rigid or flexible variety.
We will spend the first night making a plaster mold of our object, and begin the casting process. On night two, we will de-mold the object and clean it up. It will be completely dry and ready to sand and paint 24 hours after the workshop.
Organized by Willoughby and BalticSupporting interactive artists and engineers through shared tools, space, classes, and resources.
