Standing up behind his drums, pounding a relentless beat with his ducktail down in eyes, Slim Jim and the Stray Cats gave birth to a rockabilly revival that has yet to wane. Since his days with the Strays, Jim has kept steady time with such heroes as Dee Dee Ramone, Glen Matlock, and Gilby Clarke, and his own band Phantom, Rocker and Slick. Recently Jim teamed up with Motorhead’s Lemmy to form the Head Cat. Phantom has also successfully run Hollywood nightspot the Cat Club for years. Any show featuring Slim Jim is sure to be real deal, no frills rockabilly.
