Jeff Biggers is an American Book Award-winning cultural historian and journalist. His recent book, State Out of the Union: Arizona and the Final Showdown Over the American Dream presents the story of state's rights and immigration in a head to head battle. His work addresses the "Arizonification of America" wherein the conversations for conservatives and progressives regarding immigration and other pertinent national issues are being shaped by this frontier state.
