SkyBark HOWL-o-ween Fest..fun for you AND your dog! October 27, 2006

Watch out LA - SkyBark is back! 

This time around the dogs will come running and howling to the SkyBark Howl-o-ween Festival. This spooktacular event will take place from 8:00pm to 2:00am on Friday October 27, 2006 at 1026 South Santa Fe Avenue, Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90021.

The concept of SkyBark started with a simple question: Why can't I bring my dog to the bar?  It has since developed into the hottest, new nighttime event. SkyBark allows dog owners to have a great time and bring their pooch with them.  The large rooftop deck and park area is chic, sophisticated, modern, and has the most beautiful views of the downtown skyline.  SkyBark also has a full service bar, ample seating, catering services for you and your dog and most importantly every SkyBark event has a silent auction benefiting an animal charity.

The Howl-o-ween Fest auction will benefit Walk for the Underdog. Walk for the Underdog is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that raises funds for dogs in rescues in Los Angeles through an annual walk and other fundraising events. Their mission is to place orphan dogs into permanent loving homes. They also want to raise public consciousness about the massive killing of dogs in shelters and of the availability of dogs of every breed in Shelters and in Rescue. To add to an already fun filled night, October's SkyBark will include a doggie costume contest. The contest winner takes all so all pups are encouraged to come out dressed in their best Halloween attire. (The winner will receive a gift package valued at $500!)
