Sky View Center Hosts NYTV8’s New York Talent Contest Semi-Finals July 30, 2011

NYTV8’s popular New York Talent Contest (NYTC 2011) continues as the talented contestants take the stage for the semi-finals at Sky View Center, Flushing, Queens’ 800,000-square-foot shopping destination, on Saturday, July 30 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.

The semi-finalists will perform their signature acts, including singing, dancing, martial arts, magic and comical skits, on Sky View Center’s Level D. Outstanding semi-finalists will have videos of their performance showcased on Talent Star Program, broadcasted on www.NYTV8.com, and will also have a chance to audition for professional film and music companies. The winners of this round will perform at the finals on August 28.

Grand prize winners of the 2011 competition will receive a cash prize, special gift, trophy, certificate and the opportunity to become contracted artists and participate in NYTV8’s TV programs. In addition to the grand prize, awards will be given for first, second and third place winners, Most Online Popular Award, Best Teamwork Award and Best Performance Award. Hosted by the worldwide Chinese Television station NYTV8.com, the NYTC 2011 series will be broadcast through NYTV8.com.
