Over 50 artists, including Jeremy Fish, Matt Gonzalez, Jason Norelli, Randall Sexton, Zabrina Tipton and more will be donating custom-painted skateboard decks for "Skate this Art", a benefit auction and fundraiser for Roaddawgz, a drop in youth center for homeless youth in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood.
An art auction including the custom boards will be held on Friday, May 8th from 6-9pm.
On Friday, May 15th Market Street Gallery will host an artist reception and the screening of the film "Yaa Girls and the Deadly Sparks" by Patrick O'Neil from 6-9pm.
Market Street Gallery exhibits work of established and emerging artists of the San Francisco Bay Area. Exhibitions include all categories of work, including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, fashion, street art, installation art and film and video media.
Located in the Hayes Valley neighborhood near the corners of Market St. and Van Ness Blvd., the gallery is one of several in the area that are within walking distance of each other. Muni access: Civic Center Station.
