Scholastic Journey is a non-profit corporation (501c3 pending) founded in 2009 to provide impoverished children in developing countries with basic school supplies and uniforms. Scholastic Journey aims to fill the void in education left by extreme poverty by giving each child the opportunity to attend school. Current projects are located in fishing villages and mountain hamlets of east Bali, Indonesia. This spring SJ will be developing projects in small villages outside of Nairobi, Kenya providing school supplies and library books!
