Bread & Wine, the neighborhood American bistro, wine bar and market on Chicago’s Northwest Side, is excited to partner with Sixpoint Brewery for a delicious beer dinner! Out of Brooklyn, NY, Sixpoint is a rising star in the limited production craft beer world and Chef Curtis Gable has paired these delicious beers perfectly with Bread & Wine fare.
The restaurant will be open for regular dinner service before, during and after the 20 seat only beer dinner. In order to give more people the opportunity get a taste of what Sixpoint Brewery has to offer & learn about their brews, Bread & Wine will host an open-to-the-public tasting from 6-7 p.m..
The Menu:
1st Course:
Assorted house cured meats, sausages and terrines with pickles, mustard and crusty bread
Paired with Pacifica--Rare New Zealand single hop
2nd Course:
Poached chicken breast, crispy chicken skin cracklins, plum, hot sauce tapioca
Paired with Sweet Action--Hybrid with elements of cream ale, wheat ale & pale ale
3rd Course:
Corned beef shank and rye tortellini, smoked swiss crisp, stadium mustard, natural jus
Paired with Righteous Ale--Rye Ale using three different malts
4th Course:
Coriander vanilla custard, cream soda meringue, sour apple, gingersnap tuile
Paired with Resin--Imperial IPA balanced with tropical fruit
