Sita’s Daughters March 6, 2009

Renowned dancer Mallika Sarabhai is scheduled to perform Sita’s Daughters in the city. The play is brought by Communication for Development and Learning in association with Mahila Samakhya, an organization working towards the empowerment of women through education. Sita’s Daughters is a onewoman performance based on the stories of ordinary, but empowered women who refuse to submit to the tests and trails of weak and doubting men, at Chowdiah Memorial Hall.
