Sioux Falls Fragfest [Halo 3 / Call of Duty 4 Tournament] November 21, 2009

Sioux Falls Fragfest is a video game tournament featuring Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 for the X-Box 360. Events include 4-Player Free-for-All, 2v2 Team Play, and 4v4 Team Play for both games. The tournament will follow modified Major League Gaming rules for the six different events. The entry fee for each event will be $10 per player, and a venue fee of $5 will be charged to cover tournament expenses (room rental, equipment costs, and liability insurance). All entry fees will go toward the prize pool for their registered events. You can read up on these rules in the Rules section on the soofoogamers website. Each event will consist of a single elimination bracket made up of a best 2 out of 3 games format featuring Team Deathmatch/Slayer, CTF-style, or Search and Destroy-style modes. This is a bring your own controller event. If your controller legitimately works on the X-Box 360, it is eligible. No macro-recording, turbo, or other "special" functionality will be allowed, though those controllers are still eligible with functionality disabled. Default X-Box 360 Controllers will NOT be provided to anyone who does not bring one. YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN CONTROLLER. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three places at a rate proportional to attendance numbers. Prize money will be awarded in a 6/3/1 split. The prize pool will only be limited by the number of players attending a specific event. You can register for the tournament at the soofoogamers website (or the links provided below).
