Singles Mingle February 23, 2011

The Las Cruces Museum of Art, in cooperation with The Las Cruces Singles Club, will host a “Singles Mingle” on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 6 – 8 pm at the Las Cruces Museum of Art. Join other singles for an evening of ice breakers, conversation, fantastic art, and non-alcoholic beverages.

The exhibition, “Sight Unseen: The Sculpture of Michael Naranjo” will be on display. Mr. Naranjo wants others to have the opportunity to see sculptures as he creates them – by touch. In “Sight Unseen,” the public is encouraged to do just that. The forty-two statues range in size from small and intimate to life-size. Experience this special hands-on exhibit to understand Mr. Naranjo’s true vision and meet other singles from Las Cruces and the surrounding area.

Funded by the City of Las Cruces. The Las Cruces Museum of Art is located at 491 N. Main Street at the north end of the downtown mall. Gallery hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Office hours are Tuesday through Saturday 8 am to 5 pm.
