The warm space features hardwood floors, soft brown leather seats and Dara Blumenhein’s artistic photos of musicians like Motley Crue, Keith Richards and Slash. Rivera and Alex Eusebio pair to produce eclectic comfort food. Since 15 is situated in an emerging neighborhood, prices are significantly lower than they’d be on the Westside, especially from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., when a three-course "$15 @ 15" menu is available. Embrace this deal while you still can. Over half the menu is fair game at a fraction of the already reasonable cost. No matter what you order, expect a complimentary dish of addictive olive tapenade with crostini. Top starters include golden fried calamari served with a sweet-hot chile sauce. The Kobe beef burger has a nice outer char, potent Gorgonzola, caramelized onions and textbook thick-cut fries. The "fish of the day" is a triumph, three seared sea scallops with pappardelle and mushroom cream sauce. For dessert, a cylinder of warm croissant bread pudding with caramel sauce is underwhelming.
