Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.
For current space availability, to see who's going, and to register please visit our website at www.TastyLA.com.
Please register early. Schedules are announced three to six weeks in advance, seats are filled on a first come first filled basis, and dinners close three to seven days in advance. Occasionally, space opens up last minute, but this cannot be relied upon, so register early for best results.
This week join us at Inn of the Seventh Ray:
"“Eco-conscious” “creekside dining for the posh hippie” wins raves from surveyors swept away by the “wooded”, “magical fairyland” setting in “rustic” Topanga Canyon (bring your “in-laws from Iowa” and your best “harmonic vibrations” for “a spiritual California experience”); many agree that the organic Cal menu, with options for everybody from vegans to meat lovers, “could use some sprucing up” along with the service, as they’re no match for the “idyllic” atmosphere." - Zagat.com
"Located in the heart of Topanga Canyon, the restaurant's main building retains much of its history from the 1930s, when it was a private retreat, church, garage, gas station and auto junkyard. Inspired by its one-time holy sanctuary spirit, the owners transformed the place into one of the most romantic restaurants in Los Angeles. It starts with the drive through the canyon, then to the tables spread about the garden under gorgeous trees, and along the winding creek, and ends with the gift store on the way out. The owners initially introduced the restaurant as vegetarian, but have departed from that concept. Plans to replace chef Cyril Kabaoglu, who has left the restaurant, are currently in effect. The bucolic and soothing setting (we prefer the outside rather than the indoor dining room, still bearing the stained-glass of its past) is a good excuse to linger and peruse the quite substantial wine list, boasting over 400 selections from around the world." - Gayot.com
