Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.
For current space availability, to see who's going, and to register please visit our website at www.TastyChicago.net.
Please register early. Schedules are announced three to six weeks in advance, seats are filled on a first come first filled basis, and dinners close three to seven days in advance. Occasionally, space opens up last minute, but this cannot be relied upon, so register early for best results.
This week join us at Adobo Grill:
"Pleased patrons of this “midscale Mexican” trio praise the “quality” fare with “bold flavors” and “a nice variety of Latin specialties” (“don’t look for tacos or burritos”); the “party atmosphere”, “especially on weekends”, is “fun” to some, “noisy” to others, and while the “killer” “custom-made guacamole”, “potent margaritas” and “impressive tequila list” are widely praised, banditos bemoan that they “seem to be the standouts.”" - Zagat.com
"This Mexican concept makes a lot of sense. It has all the right bells and whistles (we wish we knew how to say that in Spanish). What we have here is creative and delicious Mexican food served in a contemporary setting at prices that won't bury your pesos under a pile of chips. Margarita's are shaken and served tableside. Guacamole is made from scratch tableside (and you can request the level of heat) and served in the molcajete in which it is fashioned. There is a real feeling here for flavors and interesting ideas; a trio of ceviche, for example, and a roasted rack of pork fresh out of the wood-burning oven, and hunks of grilled skirt steak with as much flavor as an expensive porterhouse. A fine way to end a meal is to tuck into a couple of scoops of lush and smooth Mexican chocolate ice cream. The waitstaff nails it when it comes to explaining what this dish or that is all about. Terrific selection of tequilas. Watch for frequent tequila dinners, which are a great deal. " - Gayot.com
