"Beneath high ceilings hung with dizzy chandeliers, this grand space is giddy with light, color and whimsical design touches. When it's in full swing, with professionals of all ages in all kinds of outfits from suits to sweats rocking the place, a Mardi Gras atmosphere prevails. Dramatic lighting promotes a cocktail party vibe in the 50-seat bar area, while the dining room's hard edges are softened by touches of velvet and warm mahogany. An open kitchen, raised above the dining room along the back of the restaurant, displays headset-wearing cooks dodging the occasional leaping flames of the wood-fired grill.
