Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.

This week join us at Mercer Kitchen

"As “upscale basements” go, this “well-known” SoHo perennial via Jean-Georges Vongerichten still attracts “preciously cool”, “dressed-to-kill” folk with “consistently delicious” French–New American food served in “dark”, “stylish” digs; somewhat “snobby” service and “no-bargain” pricing are the sticking points." - Zagat.com
"Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten oversees this super-chic (and very noisy) subterranean power-bar, lounge and restaurant in the bowels of SoHo's The Mercer. Talk about cool: the dining area extends to the turn-of-century brick walls and out under the sidewalk vault so guests below can see passersby overhead through glass bubbles in the floor-ceiling. An open kitchen and a glassed-off area feature high communal tables. Chef Christopher Beischer oversees the ethnically eclectic menu, which includes appetizers such as steamed shrimp salad with avocado, mushroom and tomato in a Champagne vinaigrette or fresh mozzarella and cherries with green and purple basil, and watercress. As for entrées, we recommend the New York strip with gingered shiitake mushrooms, caramel soy-infused sauce and french fries as well as the steamed skate with tarragon, sesame seed, asparagus and sushi rice. The warm Valrhona chocolate cake is certainly appropriate in a Vongerichten-led kitchen." - Gayot.com
