Singer/Songwriters in the Round May 6, 2011

The singer/songwriter-in-the-round event returns to Mendocino Stories and Music Series on Friday May 6. We enjoyed this type of presentation in November, where the musicians are in a circle with the audience surrounding them, like they do at the Bluebird Café in Nashville. The performance will be held at the Hill House of Mendocino starting at 7:30PM.

Four songwriters will play this event including some of our favorites. Lynn Kiesewetter, jazz pianist and vocalist with The Mendonesians, will treat us to a side not often heard; Jamie Gilliam, lead rock ‘n’ roll guitarist of TWELV30, will embrace the peaceful side of his acoustic guitar; soulful singer Sheila Fetzer will show us the transformational power of music in her life; native son and founding member of Foxglove, Morgan Daniel will cover diverse topics and a wide range of musical styles.
