Singapore HeritageFest 2009 (SHF 2009) runs from 15 to 26 July this year and is all about exploring our multicultural heritage and discovering “Who’s Your Neighbour?”

SHF 2009 is a great way for citizens, new residents and tourists to spend time together to discover more about Singapore’s multicultural heritage and the diverse cultures of those around us.

There’s an exciting line-up of events at The Festival Hub @ Suntec which will house the festival’s anchor exhibition “New Hopes, New Dreams, New Friends”. This will feature the festivals of the people living around us – their traditions, food, costumes, music and art; and also showcase daily cultural performances by local communities and residents of all ethnicities.

As part of SHF 2009, there will also be schools’ competitions and outreach programmes such as the Close (Encounters of the Nice Kind) photography campaign, six festival satellite hubs, music concerts, Fun on Foot, a heritage treasure hunt challenge and Expedition H bus tours.
