Simply Ballroom - Ballroom Dance Showcase March 20, 2009

The Southern Utah University Ballroom Dance Company will amaze you as they perform their award-winning showcase Simply Ballroom, Friday, May 20th at the Page High School Cultural Arts Building in Page, Arizona. Audiences will be treated to breath-taking lifts, beautiful costumes, and a variety of ballroom dances including the exciting latin Samba of Brazil, the majestic Slow Waltz of Austria, the rhythmical Cha Cha from Cuba, the elegant American Foxtrot, and the intense Spanish Paso Doble. This energetic group will keep you tapping your feet as you are entertained by wonderful music, beautiful costumes, and amazing formation ballroom dancing.

The SUU Ballroom Dance Company has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Latin America receiving numerous accolades for their performances. Under the direction of multi-award-winning ballroom dancer Mark Baker, the Ballroom Dance Company is one of the premier performing groups of Southern Utah University. The Ballroom Dance Company maintains a touring program that typically reaches more than 75 cities across the United States and internationally. With more than 100 performances each year, this professional-level ensemble delights, entertains, and uplifts thousands worldwide.
