This November, Simple Measures (www.simplemeasures.org) and Seattle Dance Project (www.seattledanceproject.org) present an exciting collaboration featuring SDP artists dancing to rock-and-roll arrangements and classical selections, played by Simple Measures musicians. Original choreography by James Canfield and Betsy Cooper will be unveiled. Feel the earthy beat of the rock music, how it harmonizes with the classics, and experience the thrill of live modern dance.
The collaboration kicks off Simple Measures’ fifth season, which is dedicated to an exploration of the 5th Essential element – Art and its influence and ability to connect people through site, sound, movement and feeling.
