Singer-songwriter Simone, an engaging performer who has starred on Broadway and performed around the globe, boasts a range and ability that bring to mind the gifts of her mother, musical icon Nina Simone. Her first full-length album, the 2008 release, 'Simone On Simone,' is a big band tribute to her mother produced by famed jazz musician and arranger Bob Belden.
