Suzanne Benton created the film 'Masks as a Portal to the World,' a life story as a working/traveling artist, from her 2009 illustrated talk at the Brooklyn Museum, Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art. In this film/lecture, Suzanne will discuss her work using masks and performance to give voice to characters from around the world. At the completion of the film she will perform a mask tale and take part in question and answer dialogue with the audience.
