Silk Screen: Asian Arts and Cultural Organization will feature 25 films at its seventh annual Asian American Film Festival, May 11-20. The festival is a showcase of Asian films and filmmakers with origins in Asian cultures. There will be 48 showings at three locations in the city: The Harris Theater, the Melwood Screening Room and the Regent Square Theater. Among the highlights are “The Lady,” the Aung San Suu Kyi biopic, and “Trishna,” an Indian adaptation of Thomas Hardy novel.
