I'm Matthew Joseph Harrington, a fan who went pro when I sold a story for Man-Kzin Wars.
The ultimate fan-who-went-pro is of course my editor, Larry Niven. I asked him if he'd be interested in being GoH. He has to check his schedule and contact Hilary Ayer, but he's interested.

SiliCon revenues go to diabetes research, and Jim Baen's fatal stroke was due to his diabetes, so it means a lot to anyone who knew Jim. (The Man-Kzin Wars series, published by Baen Books, was Jim's idea.)
