Canadian music artists including Basia Lyjak, Captive Groove, Monday Rose, and Sixes and Sevens will perform at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on Thursday, February 19th, to launch Silenced. The first of a series of benefit concerts to be held throughout the year, Silenced is designed to raise awareness about youth issues and violence in Canada while encouraging community support for organizations such as the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces™ Foundation and Urban Non-violent Initiatives Through Youth (UNITY).
Basia will debut brand new songs and a totally revamped set list. Among the new tracks are: What It Feels Like, Never Wanted Anything, 7 Years, Revelations, Stranger and Breaking Up.
Dale Harrison of the Headstones is joining the crew on drums, and Pat Kelly will be the band's special guest on keys!
