Side-by-Side Saturdays November 12, 2011

Experience the joy of art-making with someone special! Side by Side offers parents, grandparents, Big Brothers and Big Sisters a chance to share two hours of creating and exploring all kinds of art with a young person. Side-by-Side workshops vary each Saturday and give your family a chance to try out projects in our studios. Bring a young artist and come by each Saturday to try your hand at stained glass, metalsmithing, letterpress, fiber art, fashion design, cartooning, clay, animation, bookmaking, printmaking and more!

There is no pre-registration. Side by Side is first-come, first-serve. We can accommodate the first 25 teams each Saturday. Gates open at 9:30 AM. Cost is $10 per team each Saturday. A team is a child (age 5 to 15) and an adult. A team can have one or two children. Additional children need to be part of another adult/child team. Teams works TOGETHER at Side by Side. Each week, teams will choose from a surprise selection of different workshop offerings. Workshops begin promptly at 10:00 AM and finish at 12:00 PM. Teams are welcome as many Saturdays as they like…come out and experience learning as a hands-on creative process!
