Si, Es Flamenco! October 13, 2006

Alegrias En La Nacional Flamenco Theater presents Si, Es Flamenco! starring dancers Lia Ochoa and Rebeca Tomas, with singer Oscar Valero, guitarist Rafael Brunn, guitarist/singer Cristian Puig and percussionist Peter Basil.

Alegrias offers an authentic tablao flamenco experience with two 1-hour performances on stage every Friday and Saturday at 8:30 & 11:00 pm in an intimate setting. Local and international artists are featured and there are new performances monthly. Alegrias serves Spanish tapas, paella valenciana, wines, beer and sangria to savor while enjoying the shows. The doors open at 7:45 pm.

Alegrias, located on the second floor of The Spanish Benevolent Society/La Nacional at 239 W. 14th Street, between 7th & 8th Avenues, NYC, is a production of The New York Center For Flamenco Performing Arts/ArtsFlamenco, a section 501(c)(3) tax exempt, not-for-profit organization.
