Shreve & Co. announces a month-long celebration of Mikimoto cultured pearls throughout June in honor of Pearl Month. As part of the event, Shreve & Co., renowned in San Francisco as the city’s leading destination for elegant jewelry and fine Swiss timepieces, is one of a select number of retailers nationwide to host the Mikimoto Exclusive Tour, a traveling exhibition of couture cultured pearl jewelry on a limited tour of the United States during Spring 2011. The two iconic brands will unite to offer a unique presentation of the world’s most storied pearls at one of the country’s finest jewelers.
The Mikimoto Exclusive Tour gives Shreve & Co. a rare opportunity to show off its newly redesigned Mikimoto Boutique by showcasing unique jewels that are not normally available in their store. Reflecting the pinnacle of Mikimoto design and quality, the selection includes a variety of unique Akoya and South Sea cultured pearl necklaces including a 100” strand, as well as a selection of one-of-a-kind pieces showcasing the rare beauty of the asymmetric baroque pearl.
Glen Ross, President of Shreve & Co., states, “It is very exciting for us to feature this exclusive collection from Mikimoto. Because of our longstanding relationship with Mikimoto, our customers know that they are purchasing the world’s finest cultured pearls. The Mikimoto Exclusive Tour allows us the opportunity to show them jewelry that they haven’t seen before”.
The Mikimoto Exclusive Tour will be at Shreve & Co.’s San Francisco flagship located at the corner of Post and Grant from Thursday, June 9th through Monday, June 20th. For more information, please call 415.421.2600 or visit www.shreve.com.
