UK-based DJ/Producer Simon Posford and Raja Ram (of the Infinity Project) are Shpongle, a psychedelic ambient project formed in 1996. The Shpongle sound is a mix of mainly eastern ethnic samples and western contemporary psychedelic synth music. For 2012, Shpongle will be touring the United States performing DJ sets entitled 'Shpongle presents The Masquerade.'
