Carolyn Hoxby, an economics professor at Stanford, will give a lecture May 5 at Saint Louis University entitled “The Economic Analysis of School Choice.” Hoxby is one of the nation’s leading experts and researchers on the performance of charter schools and the economics of school choice.
There will be a reception at 5:30pm, and the lecture starts at 6 p.m. in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium in John and Lucy Cook Hall at SLU. There will be a question-and- answer period after the lecture. The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the John Cook School of Business and the Show-Me Institute.
