Do violent video games present a danger to national safety? Should selling them be restricted, as with pornography? Critics argue that there is a link between children's exposure to violent video games and their increased likelihood to commit violent acts. This panel of legal experts will discuss the controversial California law that bans the sale of video games deemed “ultra-violent” to children under 18. Although the ruling passed in 2005, it has is not been in effect due to a legal injunction. The group will examine the two major issues at hand -- the welfare of children and the producers’ right to the freedom of speech.
