get your shoes out of the closet! the SIXTH SHOE DAY is about to happen. on march 4th, lesbians from all around the world will hang their shoes outside their window, to promote lesbian visibility.

WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL SHOE DAY?

the "SHOE DAY" idea was born from the basic need, almost every lesbian has experienced in their lifetime: to know, that you are not the only one. not all lesbians have a fully functioning gaydar and for many women it can get very lonely. most probably have just one simple wish: that all lesbians woke up with green hair! just for one day!

since green hair doesn't suit everyone, we came up with a different idea: hang your shoes outside the window to promote lesbian visibility!

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
_________________________________________

1) get your shoes out the closet and hang them outside your window on 4th march 09

2) take a picture and upload it to the photo gallery SHOE Day 2009
select category: International SHOE Day

3) take a stroll around your neighbourhood to check, if any other lesbians have hung their shoes outside their window. how about knocking on the door and asking for coffee? ;-)
