Shockoe Hill Cemetery - Remembering the Young Girls of Richmond: A Girl Scout Patch Opportunity March 17, 2013

Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to be a part of a memorial monument dedication to the young girls who perished in the 1863 Brown's Island explosion. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Shockoe Hill Cemetery. Please join us in this remembrance. Girl Scouts will receive a beautiful "Remembering The Young Girls of Richmond" patch. This is a free event and open to the public. Irish event will follow the marker dedication with Irish food, tours, and music from award winning singer songwriter, Susan Greenbaum.
