The SMFA is pleased to present "Shifting Perspectives: Esteban Pastorino Díaz," on view in the Grossman Gallery, August 29–October 13, 2008.
This is Argentine photographer Pastorino's first major solo exhibition in the United States featuring more than seventy of his recent photographs—including prints, lightboxes, and a slide projection—created with the cameras he designs and builds himself. From the Kite Aerial Photography series to sprawling 3-D panoramics, Pastorino challenges our notions about perspective, motion, and space within our world.
Join us for an opening celebration, including reception and artist talk, on September 3, 6 pm.
