She is an Astronomer: Venus and the Moon January 31, 2009

In celebration of the contribution of women in astronomy, spend an hour star-gazing with female astronomers at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, using our late 19th century 28-inch diameter refracting telescope – the largest of its kind in the country. This is a special event for mother and daughter groups (suitable for ages 9+).

Tickets also permit exclusive evening access to the modern astronomy galleries and the planetarium from 17.30 until 21.30. The café and shop will also be open.
