Shayar played for the Jamacian legend Burning Spear for 20 years. He has since left his native Jamaica, relocated to Beckley, West Virginia, and has formed the group Shayar and Krooshal Force. With both Jamacian and Appalachian roots, the results is hard-driving reggae infused with mountain grooves. The five-piece's original songs cover topics from humanitarian issues to the environment and world peace. $7
