Shawn Phillips helped define folk-rock in the 1960s and progressive-new-age rock in the 1970s. He is an accomplished musician, poet, composer and actor. Shawn has written music for movie soundtracks and for symphony orchestras. He has performed a heathy amount of session work. Shawn was called "The best kept secret in the music business," by the late rock impresario Bill Graham.
